Wooden Cutting/Serving Boards
Our wooden cutting boards are processed then coated with bees wax before shipping. Because they are wood, we recommend no soaking - wash thoroughly by hand. We also recommend recoating with bees wax every three months with high use and as needed in lower use. You will notice a change in the look of the board when it is time to recoat. We currently use Clapham's Beeswax Salad Bowl Finish which is available through Lee Valley or Busy Bee Tools - any food grade beeswax is acceptable.
We sometimes offer wooden cutting boards where epoxy has been used to highlight an engraved item, we want you to know that we use a table/food grade epoxy.
